I have over a decade of post-qualification experience working therapeutically with people from diverse identities and backgrounds. Prior to launching my independent practice in 2023, I held several paid and volunteer roles within international organizations, non-profits, and various community agencies across Greece, the UK, and Canada. Notably, in recent years, I set up a comprehensive Mental Health and Psychosocial Support service for newly-arrived refugees and asylum seekers on the island of Lesvos, Greece; served as a psychologist and case manager within a UNHCR-funded program for survivors of gender-based violence; worked in the community providing peer counselling services at a rape crisis centre in Toronto, Canada; held the position of residential counsellor in a supported living facility for adults experiencing complex psycho-social difficulties.
